With over 18 years of Real Estate experience in the Seattle Metro market and beyond, Robert is well placed to assist you with your real estate needs. Robert has helped clients see opportunity, pitfalls and the big picture in the many different economic climates. He specializes in the West Seattle neighborhood residential real estate but works throughout the Puget Sound area for his favorite clients. You can count on his steady and expert advice to help you navigate the expected, and unexpected twists, of a real estate deal.
Robert is committed to creating a better community. He invests his time, energy and resources in community building. Robert believes in ‘giving where I live’ and has served as a board member for the Alki Community Center Advisory Council, Vice-President and President of Schmitz Park Elementary (now Genesee Hill Elementary), coaching youth Soccer and Baseball and volunteering for numerous auctions, field trips, Scouting events and where ever else needed.
Originally from Chicago, Robert has called the Pacific Northwest home for over 30 years. Moving to Seattle right after college in 1993, he has seen firsthand the growth of a grungy, Northwest city to the gleaming Urban Metropolis of Amazonia. He has been fortunate enough to experience the birth of a musical revolution, cheering NCAA & NFL Championships (and heartbreaking near misses with the Sonics and Mariners) and watching neighborhoods transform. Change and growth are good and Robert embraces the explosion! He truly loves the quality of life, the physical beauty of the area, the culture and the vibrancy of the regional economy.
Robert and his family have called West Seattle home since 2002. He and his wife, Kathy, have raised 2 children –now teens, in a supportive, engaged and dedicated community. They have made some fantastic connections and are truly lucky to call West Seattle home. In his spare time, the Kelly's can generally be found enjoying the Pacific Northwest great outdoors. Days off are typically spent skiing at Crystal, camping/hiking/biking in the Cascades or escaping to the San Juan Islands.
