Heather Wachtler, known artistically as Splicy

Heather Wachtler, known artistically as Splicy, is a Kirkland based analog collage artist whose work transcends conventional boundaries.  With a keen eye for mixing textures, playing with subject’s features, and creating a playful color story, Splicy crafts unique pieces that draw the viewer's eye again and again.  Splicy has participated in numerous local art walk events and markets.  Most recently she led a collage class through Crafternoon Seattle (@crafternoonseattle) in which students learned key components of analog collage, while exploring and creating their own works.  Splicy’s unique portfolio is a testament to her ability to reimagine fragments into cohesive narratives and create something beautiful in the process.  Come collage with Splicy!
