Market Snapshot - April 2024

The West Seattle spring housing market continued to heat up this April. West Seattle saw an increase in Median Price, Pending and Closed transactions.

These trends follow typical seasonal patterns as Median price historically climbs in the spring. Despite higher interest rates, this April was no different.

West Seattle Key Indicators. Pricing is up Year over Year and since the start of the year. The busiest price ranges continued to be the 700-800k and 1-1.25M ranges. We would anticipate the market to stay steady as we head into Summer before leveling off later in the year.

The Seattle Metro market (all areas) remains strong despite interest rates in the 7’s. Demand continues to outpace inventory.
